Flat track.

El flat track es un deporte que me llama la atención.
Lo primero que me llama la atención son las máquinas, que me parecen de una estética bastante marcadas, vamos, que ves una y ya sabes a que está destinada, Flat track. No llevaban frenos y se le puede poner metanol al depósito como combustible, Uffff.
Otra cosa es el circuito, un ovalo perfecto en el cual corren de 4 a 6 pilotos.
Pero lo que más me llama la atención es la manera de correr por ese ovalo, cuando se llega a la zona de curva la toman completamente deslizándose de lado, derrapando vamos.

Recta la moto va muy poco, más bien están todo el tiempo derrapando, que aquí está la particularidad del deporte, y en las rectas también es característico que se cojan de la horquilla izquierda, espectacular esa posición aerodinámica.

La pista, para ayudar a este derrape eterno, esta recubierta de tierra suelta, aunque también existen de hielo y algunas de asfalto, pero eso creo que se denomina de otra manera, no se….Grandes marcas marcaron los primeros puestos en este tipo de competición, Harley,Indian, Norton, Triumph…por no citar las japonesas, que esas ya se saben de sobra, llegaron mas tarde pero arrasaron.

El caso es que las motos me parecen una pasada.
