LA NOVELA.

Rob Fleming es un apasionado de la música pop propietario de una tienda de discos en Londres en la que que sólo vende los discos que le gustan. En su tienda trabaja junto a sus dos empleados Dick y Barry, tan inmaduros y obsesionados con la música como él. Los tres se entretienen compitiendo entre ellos para demostrar sus conocimientos musicales, grabando recopilaciones en casette de sus canciones favoritas y haciendo listas de todo lo que les gusta y lo que odian.

Escrita por Nick Hornby en 1995. La historia fue llevada al cine en 2000 en la película del mismo título filmada por Stephen Frears y protagonizada por John Cusack. También ha sido adaptada en un musical de Broadway de 2006.

LA PELICULA.

El argumento de la película es realmente fiel al libro, apareciendo tan sólo dos diferencias entre el guión cinematográfico y el texto literario:
-En el libro, la acción transcurre en Londres. En cambio, el filme sitúa la acción en Chicago.
-John Cusack interpreta a Rob Gordon, que en la novela se hace llamar Rob Fleming.

Rob Fleming is a fan of pop music owned a music store in London in which only sells discs that you like. THE FILM.

The argument of the film is really faithful to the book, appearing only two differences between the screenplay and the literary text:

-In the book, the action takes place in London. Instead, the film puts the action in Chicago.

-John Cusack plays Rob Gordon, who in the novel calls Rob Fleming.
